The MP DTE Counselling Process is a completely online procedure that facilitates admissions into various technical courses like B.E./B.Tech and B.Arch in Madhya Pradesh. Candidates must participate in this centralized counselling based on their JEE Main merit.
The process consists of multiple rounds, each involving specific steps that must be completed within stipulated deadlines. Below is a detailed breakdown of each phase of the counselling process.
Make sure you meet the following baseline requirements before initiating your registration on the DTE MP portal.
Passed 10+2 (Class 12) or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
Round 1 of counselling is exclusively conducted based on JEE Main CRL (Common Rank List) ranks. Non-JEE candidates are eligible to apply in later rounds based on Class 12 marks.
90% of the total seats in Government and Government-aided colleges are reserved for candidates holding MP Domicile. 10% seats are open for Outside Madhya Pradesh (All India) candidates.
Registration is the mandatory first step to participate in the counselling. It is a fully online process where you establish your candidature.
After registration, the uploaded certificates are cross-checked by the DTE verification officers to confirm eligibility.
